It has come to my attention that someone else on Rexxar (US) horde has made a character named, Hyourinmaru. As of last night he was a lvl 14 druid. I wouldn’t normally care but due to some recent events I am very upset at the bad name this guy has given me.

A few days ago I got a whisper from some lowbie in Orgimmar thanking me for sending them 10 gold. I politely replied and said I didn’t send them any gold and they must be mistaken. They replied back saying it must have been someone else but the name looked similar.

Then last night when I get home from work I got a tell from Pailihello, a level 1 something. Anyway they thanked me for buying gold and let me know that if I needed to buy more gold to send them an in-game mail. BTW I reported all of this immediately. Well I did some digging and there are only 3 characters on the horde side with Hyou in the name. Two of them are mine and the other is this guys.

So in the ticket I put the information about the tells and how people keep thinking I’m this guy. All of the people that have sent me tells in the past 2 weeks I do not know unless they are a new guild alt or something. Well when a GM finally contacts me it says they will investigate everythign and thanked me for reporting the trouble. Oh and that I wouldn’t be able to reply to the whispher.

How rude! Obviuosly you can catch this guy with his hand in the cookie jar right now if you would just talk to me. The guy was online and all they would have to do is see how much gold he had. Maybe that’s what they are going to do but after including alot of detail in the ticket I figured they would atleast speak to me in person, automated response FTL.

So I sent the guy a tell letting him know that people keep getting us confused and sending me tell that were ment for him. I told him about the tells I had gotten and he denied ever buying gold. I’m not blind within 3 days I got tells from 2 seperate people related to a similar character name and some kind of gold transaction.

My advice to people that want to buy gold from online. DON’T if I find you on my realm I will report you and don’t use a similar name to someone else. Come on have some creativity and don’t rip of BLEACH, I have only seen a few episodes of it and I kinda like it.
