A valiant post from Siha, a blogger, on BlogAzeroth (BA) suggest a shared topic for the community to post about. I like the idea. So this is our first shared topic, Q: What do you enjoy about the class you play the most?
Answer:
I guess I will be using ..Zan for this as ..Kami isn’t really raiding yet or anything. Screw it I will talk a little about what I enjoy about my Tankadin as well.
What do I enjoy the most about playing a mage. Hmm, could it be the massive amounts of DPS? You bet your sweet bippy. I love my mage, heck I even swore for a long time that I ..Zan would always be my main over any other toon I made. I wish I could still say that but I still enjoy playing him.
But why a frost mage? It simple really fire is so “cookie cutter” yeah you see frost mages farming mobs for the sweet loot drop or whatever but really how many frost mages raid. I have tried almost every spec for Fire and Frost. I feel more at home with the frost mage. Hyouzan is from the kanji for ice and mountain. I picked the name will TBC was still in beta. I didn’t want to be like everyother mage out there I wanted to be different and boy was I.
Even from level 1 my primary spells were frost and that helped alot when I was soloing, I had my Ice Block and Ice Barrier. I really enjoyed it once I hit level 50 and got my very own Water Elemental, I just wish I could name him. I had more fun playing as a frostie then playing as fire. Yeah fire did more DPS and probably still does but I seem to be topping the WWS for mages as a frost mage.
I wish I could dual-box both of my toons in a raid I enjoy them both so much.Â
What I love about my tankadin is really the in you face combat. Right there in the thick of it going toe-to-toe with the big dogs. I know it’s going to be a learning curve going from solo AOE grinding to tanking raids but that’s why they have 5-mans and heroics. I haven’t soloed her compeltely. I have ran Ramparts, Blood Furnace, Slave Pens, Underbog and Mana Tombs . I hope I have shown my guild I understand what it takes and I have the ability to make the choices for a successful pull, only time will tell.

I have never played a gnome or any alliance toon. I think they are too goodie goodie for me. Well I do like to support the underdogs.
I will be running in the Gnaked Gnome race sponsored by BRK. I think it will be fun to do something other then grind and raid. Hell even my guildies won’t know that I have done such a immoral and perverted dance kinda thing. Oh yeah I will be /dancing my heart out.
I even love when it’s Winter Veil and they put out the gnome-makers around the world. I will even port to a city with one about 1 minute before my buff expires just to keep the buff active for the whole time I’m online.
I don’t really know what day will be good for me yet but I hope I will be able to go, if not I will just take leave or call in sick for such a crazy thing to do. So in secret I will be making a gnome tonight when I get home to save my name. What class will he be? Mage of course, I will be respresenting my blog in my first ever fun run on any WoW server. I hope to “see” other bloggers there as well.
I was doing my general blog reading tonight. I made it onto BigBearButtBloggers sidebar, woot! I also found another frost mage blog. I can’t wait to see his first posts about going into Kara, I wish him and his guild the best of luck as they enter 10mans. I don’t have Frostbolt listed on my sidebar ’cause my work’s firewall is blocking his site. I guess I can read it at home while I’m questing and stuff.
