Well our second day on Thurin and it wasn’t all that bad. We went form level 23 to level 30 before I needed to logoff and get ready for work. That was only about 1.5 hours of game play, gotta love the quick levels.

We were at theis one camp in a 20-35 zone when Hiyama died from the mobs. I looted the grave and was making my way back to town. To sell the junk and maybe do a little training or buy a recall scroll. My plan was thwarted by a level 60-something scout who saw me running back on his track and decided he wanted whay I was carrying. Once I saw his slow my pace, I started deleting everything in my inventory. This spazz wasn’t getting any goodies from me. I even told his in /say that I had just deleted my gold. He still killed me and told me he did it so I could have a free recall to town.

After looking over the map we found a place that wasn’t near any free holds and it took us about 20 minutes of running to get there. That place panned out to be a great place to level. We stayed there until we both hit level 30 and then we logged out. Unlike WoW or other games after loggin out for 15 minutes you will automatically be returned to your hearth location. Nice if you are far away or if someone just popped on your track.

Both of our inventories was full of junk or blue items and we still had our stack of gold. I can’t wait to get home and train up my guy and get my summon power. I think I am goign to start adding our item to my itemstats. I think i will have to make a form that does it but I woudl really liek to show what kind of items Shadowbane has to offer.

I said in a previous post that the CN nations dominate our server and we were thinking about going to another server. So when Malog was down for a few hours we decided to start toons on Thurin. It was a good thing too because Malog was down for over 15 hours. Thanks to the technical team for unbaning the trees that would have been lost during that time frame.

So we have moved to Thurin which people say is a “carebear” server but I beg to differ. Not 5 minutes after reaching the mainland we got ganked and it wasn’t by any CN toons. Thank you!!

I am making a Druid on this server and Hiya is making a Confessor. I think as a team they will work well together as they both have DoTs, AoEs and are healer based.

We are both happy to be moving to a server were 99% of the people use the modern latin alphabet. We wish we had made our toons here first since our other toons have alot of runes and gp. Honestly it won’t take us long to get all of that back. Once I get my lock going on Thurin we can make the same amount of gold in 3 hours. The only problem will be trying to get ahold of 2 Huntsman runes for our main toons.

First off Hyouzan is level 62 and in a holding pattern as I debate on what to do next. Our server is over run by the Chinese Nation, they control about two-thirds of the server. That’s not the bad part, most of them multibox so they have their own support to take on the single players running around and trying to have fun in the game.

I know the game is all GvG and PvP oriented but his is insane. You can’t go anywhere without seeing a CN player, and if they happen to see you first they will automatically come a PK you. I guess it’s the nature of the game but where is the fun in 1 shotting someone? When I use to play on Mourning we had a guild that was notorious for ganking and major craziness at banes, Undead Lords. I guess they have moved on to other AoC and Warhammer, they were always fun to fight with as they actually knew how to play the game.

Well I have made a PL toon on Malog and was having fun getting him to where he can be placed on autopilot and rock a camp for hours. I went out to test the timing on my macros and no sooner did I find a camp within reach did I get PK’d by someone 45 levels higher then me. Oh and they were from CN, so it doesn’t matter anymore. I don’t know what to do now maybe buy 2 copies of Guild Wars and play them, but I will have to check and see if CN are on those servers as well.

They, CN, are a plague on the servers and from all the BBs I’ve been reading UbiSoft and StrayBulletGames refuse to take action against them. I remember playing Asheron’s Call and seeing a bunch of Asian IPs getting blocked for multiboxing and ruining the world and economy. I wish they would even remove the Asain font sets from the game, after all it is made and ran from a nonasian company.
