I have to admit I have been reading fewer WoW blogs since the first of the year, but still some of them have me thinking.

For example, Tobold has a very good post on Dual Spec and Hybridization. I read this post a few times, I like fully understanding what I read. As someone that plays a hybrid class being DS’d can really help a raid. Seeing how I am not going to be raiding for a while I know it’s not applicable to me. Although, I have thought about DSing Tankadin and Retadin. Like Rohan at Blessing of Kings wrote about it can make leveling go alot quicker and I could probably get away with using it in the BGs.

On the other hand it may be something Blizz regrets doing after a while. It seems like a great idea at first but given the how quick people are to cry NERF on the boards and forums, it may be something they ammend.

Since I have started playing WoW again my mindset is very different. If I even log into the game on a particular day, I might spend 2 hours questing and what not. I find it’s more enjoyable for me. I have been taking my time reading the quests and taking part in the story line.

As of this moment in my thoughts I do not want to get into raiding. That may change but right now I am content just relaxing and letting the game be a diversion for me. I normally end up playing in the morning when I get home from work.

I think it is great having no expectations of me. I rarely see any off my old guildmates online and I am content with that. I’m not trying to be antisocial but I enjoy not being guilded or attached to any guild for that matter.

I have yet to find a piece of gear that can upgrade what I currently have.

Well after coming back to WoW and having to learn what changed in my class and spec (Prot) I decided to make a change of my own.

Kami is now and forever a male. I use to think Pally armor only looked good on female toons but after seeing some people running around Dalaran I noticed hwo well it looked on the males. I also changed the hair color and style to be more on par with my other toons. I am hoping to actually get some new gear in the future but my T4, T5 and BoJ gear from before WotLK is serving me pretty well.

I don’t know where I want to level yet. I like both of the story lines for Howling Fjord and Borean Tundra. I was thinking of running Kami through HF and running Zan through BT. That was I get to enjoy both the story lines.

For now all I will say is I love just taking my time and enjoying the game again. I haven’t decided if I will want to raid again. I felt very overwhelmed most nights and had a few night without sleep because of raid bosses. But we will see, as I am still shy of level 80.
